Fly Like An Eagle, Run Like An Youngster

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40 v 31 In this generation, virtually everything is available in abundance but what is lacking is hope. Without hope, people despair. This is the reason, I announced a couple of days ago that I am starting a global ministry to the nations of Friends of Possibilities (FoP) to bring the hope of God to people in all nations. The prophet Isaiah wrote this powerful promise that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. I can testify that this is so true. To hope in the Lord is to believe Him, to trust Him, to have faith in His word. Today, I feel stronger than what I was at the age of thirty. Almost every day, I play around 90 minutes of table tennis or 15 games when as a youth I could hardly play five games and would be exhausted. The Lord said that since you run for Me, run after Me, I renew your strength so that you are able to run around at sixty plus like a thirty year old. Like an eagle renews its strength by retreating to a lonely and high place, when we daily retreat to the Lord even in our older years, He renews the strength of our various organs. He enables us to soar like eagles on God provided wings of the word and prayer and roar like lions. Just as wings have a combination of different types of feathers to enable flight, there are promises, admonitions, exhortations, prophecies, commands, warnings, examples in scripture that enable us to walk, run and fly. We will have the spiritual stamina and endurance and not be tired. Many younger people in our circles might have either passed on or be unable to move around freely but we will walk close to the Lord and not be weak. He equips us to overcome our physical, emotional, intellectual weaknesses. The Lord as a source of power and strength is inexhaustible and His wisdom and understanding cannot be measured. By trusting God, we get connected to infinite power, energy and grace. When we seek His face in all our ways, we will find His grace. His grace is more than sufficient for all our need and in all our situations. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
